Why Bareket
Bareket — emerald — is the stone of the second tribe on the High Priest's breastplate. We named this collection for what it carries: the weight of something real. Seven models, each bearing the name of a Jewish queen or heroine — Judith, Myriam, Bat Sheva, Shlomzion, Athalia, Esther. Each worked entirely by hand: gold and silver metallic thread through 100% linen, shimmering velvet, and upholstery-grade fabric. Sizes range from 41 × 53 cm to 45 × 62 cm. Labor from approximately 40 to 130 hours per piece. What arrives on your Shabbat table has been held, and turned, and finished by hand — in a studio in New Delhi that Liora and David Yair opened together in 2022.
"Seven models. Each a name. Each a story carried in thread."
