Malqeta is a Jerusalem-based Judaica brand specialising in hand-embroidered challah covers and ceremonial textiles. Our products are designed in Jerusalem and produced in New Delhi using traditional Zardozi embroidery techniques. All sales are conducted through this website and are subject to the terms below.

By placing an order or using this website you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with a purchase.

All prices are listed in Israeli New Shekel (₪) and approximate USD equivalents are shown for reference only. Final charges are in ILS unless otherwise stated. Prices include Israeli VAT where applicable. International customers are charged the net price; local taxes and import duties in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.

Every Malqeta piece is handmade or hand-embroidered. Product photography represents each item as accurately as possible, but slight variations in colour, thread weight, and finish are inherent to the handmade process and should be embraced as evidence of authenticity.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, update product descriptions, or discontinue items at any time without prior notice.

Orders are processed once full payment has been received. We accept major credit and debit cards via our secure payment provider. Malqeta does not store payment card details.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of stock. In such cases, any payment made will be refunded in full.

You will receive an order confirmation by email once payment is successful. This confirmation does not constitute a contract of sale; a contract is formed only when we dispatch your order.

All Malqeta challah covers are either hand-embroidered to order or produced in very limited quantities. Due to the artisan and handmade nature of every piece, we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the case of items that arrive damaged or materially defective.

By purchasing from Malqeta, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Minor variation in colour, stitch placement, bead arrangement, and finish is natural and expected in handmade work.
• Each piece may differ slightly from product photography.
• Embroidery hours listed are approximate guides, not contractual specifications.

These variations are not considered defects and do not entitle the buyer to a return, exchange, or discount.

We take every care to ensure each piece leaves us in perfect condition, and all orders are inspected before packing. If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@malqeta.com with:

• Your order number
• A clear description of the damage or defect
• Photographs clearly showing the issue

We will assess each case individually and, where the damage is verified as a production fault, arrange a replacement, repair, or store credit at our discretion. We are unable to consider claims made after 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

All designs, embroidery patterns, photography, copy, and branding on this website are the exclusive property of Malqeta. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Malqeta's liability to any customer shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or consequential damages of any kind arising from the use of our products or website.

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of exchange rate conversions or estimated delivery times provided on this site.

Personal information collected during checkout is used solely to process your order and communicate with you about it. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. For questions about your data, contact us at info@malqeta.com.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising from a purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jerusalem.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of last revision. Continued use of the website or placing of an order after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
